PAF awards three journalists with Poverty Alleviation Fund National Journalism Award 2073
Poverty Alleviation Fund (PAF) has awarded three journalists from different media outlets with PAF National Journalism Award 2073 amid a function at the premises of PAF secretariat on 2 January, 2017. Honorable Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Krishna Bahadur Mahara handed over the annual awards to Bhusan Yadav of print media, Bidhya Rai of electronic media and Rakesh Prasad Chaudhary of print media in the mofussil. The prize includes a certificate and a purse of Rs. 40,000 each. On the occasion Deputy Prime Minister Mahara underscored the cooperation from the private sector for eradicating poverty and ensuring prosperity at the local level for a prosperous Nepal. He also highlighted the need for job creations at home by utilizing the local natural resources.
